Developing an industry and a country

In Sudan, there is a great deal going on to develop the dairy sector: close cooperation between processors and farmers, school milk programme, and consumer education activities. Tetra Pak and DeLaval have decades of experience in supporting local dairy farmers and dairy processors to develop a sustainable dairy value chain.

Tetra Laval’s Food for Development Office (FfDO) uses its vast experience and knowledge to help develop and improve the dairy value chain. In Sudan, FfDO and Tetra Pak Sudan are supporting the dairy processor DAL Dairy Factory in their efforts to change
the conditions for dairy farmers and provide consumers and school children with quality milk.
