DeLaval Plus wins prestigious Golden HofGenie Innovation Award at AgroTier in Wels, Austria

DeLaval Plus has clinched the prestigious Golden HofGenie Innovation Award at AgroTier in Wels, Austria! This highly coveted accolade celebrates groundbreaking advancements in animal husbandry, grassland management, and marketing. The event was officially opened by the Federal President of Austria, Alexander van der Bellen.

DeLaval Plus—an AI-driven platform that analyses farm data to provide actionable insights and tools for optimising performance and improving animal health—won first place in the digitalisation category. The award was decided by an independent jury of experts from the agricultural industry.

The prize was presented to Martin Huber, Managing Director of DeLaval GesmbH Austria, by President of the Austrian Chamber of Agriculture, Josef Moosbrugger, Minister of Agriculture Norbert Totschnig, Managing Director of the Upper Austrian farmers’ newspaper, Anni Pichler and President of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Agriculture, Franz Waldenberger.

Martin Huber says: “We are delighted to receive this award. With DeLaval Plus, our goal is to assist farmers in making better decisions for their operations through advanced data processing and artificial intelligence, thereby enabling long-term success and improved animal welfare.
